Equipment · Output profile

Describe your intended equipment. These are your own constraints — no single range or level suits every device or person. Signal level in the file does not determine how strongly a given transducer, amplifier and mounting will vibrate.

In stereo, the two channels are independent outputs (for example two transducers) — not ears. A DC blocker is always applied.

All audible layers stay inside 20–120 Hz.

Duration & arrangement

Pass length, repeats and master fades. Each layer can enter and exit at its own time; the timeline shows every layer's span and tone path.

Preview

Playback starts only when you press Play, at a low listening volume. Preview volume affects only your speakers — the file is rendered with the export gain below. Faster speeds compress timing (automation, envelopes) but keep tone and pulse rates true.

Music

Music layer

Optional · local only

Browser-supported audio · up to 30 MB / 10 minutes

Music starts at 0:00 and plays once. Its ending fades over the selected seconds (5 by default; 0 disables the fade), at the music’s end or composition end, whichever comes first. Frequency layers continue for their chosen duration. New uploads start at −6 dB; adjust the mix volume down or boost it up to +12 dB if needed. Saved mix levels stay unchanged.

Stereo is preserved for two outputs; mono output averages both channels. Music shares master fades, filters, export gain and ceiling protection; with protection off, the mixed signal is limited at 0 dBFS. Boosting can cause limiting; lower music volume if you hear distortion. Faster preview speeds accelerate music, including its pitch.

Audio stays in this page’s memory. Project saves and JSON files retain its name, duration and volume, not the source audio. After a reload or on another device, re-upload it. Music may contain frequencies outside your equipment’s range.

Details are included when you save the composition or export its project file. WAVs include title, collection and artwork as metadata; some players do not display WAV tags. The project name and WAV filename stay unchanged.

Render and export

Saves the complete sound — frequency layers and any uploaded music together — as one lossless WAV for the full chosen duration. Export gain is applied as set unless you turn on normalize. Project saves retain editable settings, not the music source audio.

Peak is set by layer and export gain; the ceiling limit still applies.
